Why Eviction Must Be Occupy London’s Eureka Moment

Newton’s First Law of Motion states, “Every object in a state of uniform motion tends to remain in that state of motion unless an external force is applied to it.” Perhaps today’s threat of expulsion from Victoria Park may be the force that propels the Occupy London movement into doing something positive with the opportunity they’ve been given.

How many mongs does it take to make it right? For some, it may never be the case, and it brings up the question of where does intent fit when using words that some find offensive?

It didn’t take long for Ricky Gervais to court controversy upon his return to Twitter following his self-imposed exile. He’s peppered his Twitter feed (and other forms of communications) with the term mong (sometimes accompanied by a picture of him contorting his face into various examples of the term slack-jawed oaf. Blackface a Black Mark on Montreal

The world’s greatest city just got one heck of a black eye thanks to a bunch of allegedly smart kids parading around in blackface for the world to see.

Finding the Right Steps in the White Guy Linguistic Jig
