Today’s Music is Offensive? Take a Spin of Mom and Dad’s Records

People in the future may look back on this generation’s youth and be shocked at the level of misogyny, violence, and overt sexuality in today’s music. But, you know what? I’d rather bear that cross than the one that should be applied to the generation directly before mine: pedophiles.

NHL Must Smarten Up on Hits to Head

If losing the league’s top player for an extended period of time due to a couple of hits to the head knocking him loopy won’t change the game, will anything knock some sense into the powers that be?

The coolest NHL all-star game in years is fast approaching. We’ve all heard about (and discussed) the intriguing twist of players picking their own sides for this overblown game of shinny. A God-Forsaken Protest

While the old Hollywood adage is that all publicity is good publicity, it’s hard to understand the motivations behind the congregation of the Westboro Baptist Church and its decision to protest the funeral of a nine-year-old girl.

The Topeka, Kansas church members are planning to protest at Christina Green’s funeral. The young girl was killed during the attempted assassination of U.S. representative Gabrielle Giffords. Continue reading
